Susan's winning submission for the City of Richmond B.C. Cover Stories Competition was unveiled! Her art will adorn the city's manhole covers for many years to come.

Another book launch! Susan has illustrated Fairy Rose and the Power of Eleven. Written by noted children's author Catherine Anne Tocher this new book is availble in book stores, at Amazon and at Friesenpress.

Susan created an image for a story by Marguerite Yarmi which was submitted to David Suzuki's "Best Pacific Ocean Stories" contest. The story is titled "Living Lights of the Pacific." The story and image got a runners up!
Anna May's Cloak is the most recent
children's book that Susan has illustrated. It took her 10 months to complete the images. Her
inspiration comes from her love of plants, nature as well as from her very large family!
Quebec author Christiane Ciciole crafted a story of love passed through generations and Susan brought the story to life with her imagery. Susan and Christiane have never meet, but have had
friendly correspondence via emails.
Anna May's Cloak was published by Simply Read Books and
can be purchased at Kid's Books (three locations in/around Vancouver BC) or through Susan.

April 27th 2006 Susan gave a watercolour demonstration at the evening reception for Surrey Art Centres "Arts and Culture Week"
April 15th 2006 Susan's work was accepted for a juried exhibit at the Van Dusen Botanical Garden in Vancouver B.C.
Dec 2005 to May 2006, 10 of Susan's experimental art pieces were hung at the Kokopelli Hair Salon, Vancouver, B.C.
This past October 2005, Susan was part of the Main Street Drift. Her studio, as well as a number of other artists studios were open to the public for a 2 day artists walk in the Mount Pleasant area.
On Nov 24th 2005 Susan donated 2 of her watercolour pieces for an Art Auction to Benefit at risk youth in East Van.
